Welcome to OSCAR - Open Source Car Architecture Research! Our vision is the open standardisation of the core elements of a vehicle. Starting with the objective of developing a living standard of the vehicle chassis in a community, we are launching the ambitious OSCAR project. Our mission is to save development costs, reduce homologation barriers and create participation of all companies in the vehicle development value chain.
OSCAR was founded to put collaboration above competition, bringing together individuals and companies from different backgrounds and perspectives.
